images per minute duplex, the M4099D scanner ensures that you're
always at peak productivity. The M4099D scanner also comes standard
with both a SCSI and Video interface on every unit for compatibility
with most hardware interface boards. The M4099D scanner also
includes industry-standard TWAIN and ISIS drivers for use with a
wide variety of scanning applications and software solutions. Its
400 DPI optical resolution and 10-bit internal grayscale
capabilities deliver finer, more detailed images.
1,000 Page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and
Exit Stacker
The large capacity feeder and document stacker flawlessly feeds your
documents and then returns them to a neat stack for easy processing.
The feeder's design can handle a variety of document types and sizes
from A7 to A3. For smaller batches, the feeder can be configured to
have smaller capacities of 250 or 500 documents.
Standard Color Dropout
Easily configured through the scanner's control panel or software
configuration, the M4099D can automatically drop out red, green or
blue. It's dual CCD's can be configured to drop out different colors
on the front and back with just one setting, no lamp changes
required.
ScanRight Image Processing Technology
ScanRight image processing technology includes 16 advanced image
enhancement functions such as background removal, text enhancement,
image emphasis, noise removal and automatic separation that can be
combined to capture excellent image quality for specific document
types.
Page Thickness Setting
Revolutionary ADF and paper path design enable reliable handling of
documents of different sizes and weights. Choose from five paper
thickness settings for superior handling when scanning extra light
or heavy documents.
ScanRight VRS Option

The Fujitsu ScanRight VirtualReScan™ technology option allows mixed
batches of documents to be scanned without adjustments. VRS
technology automatically detects, de-skews, crops and brightens
images as needed regardless of document shape, size and color.
Endorser Option
The M4099D scanner can be upgraded with a post scan, back side
endorser option. The endorser can print 30 alphanumeric characters
via the front control panel or host software application.
