"Cobb County Schools Human Resources processes more than 13,000 employment applications annually.  Before STAR (WinOcular), we had three employees who data entered and scanned every employment application.  This was their full-time job.  With the implementation of STAR, more than 90% of all applicants submit their application to us via the Web.  As a result, we obtain more accurate and complete applicant data, and we have been able to assign the three staff members to other important and previously neglected HR responsibilities."

 

"We used to receive hundreds of phone calls each year from callers asking what jobs did we have available.  With STAR, all of our vacancies are listed on the Web automatically as we create them during the day and as they become open.  They also are removed from the listing on the web as the job is closed.  This has provided a higher level of service to our applicants."

 

"Before the STAR project, we had two stand alone systems - WinOcular for application process and a legacy system for application and payroll processing.  Hiring officials had to access both systems for applicant information.  With the implementation of STAR, we use WinOcular as the sole application processing system and feed hire data on a nightly basis to the legacy system for payroll processing."

The Texas State Board for Educator Certifications (SBEC) ensures HOUSSE accuracy by sending certifications (licensure) and ExCET/TeXES Test results directly to WinOcular! CCR, Inc. - Dedicated to Making You More Productive.
