What are the differences between WinOcular Prelude and Symphony?

We've separated our original WinOcular Applicant Tracking software into two great products - each with the same mission-critical technology at their core and both use SQL database technology thus ensuring the widest possible compatibility, maximum stability and the future expansion options.

Prelude represents a standardization of the most popular on-line application features and is provided as an hosted ASP solution. It includes Two On-line employment applications, eForms automation for basic Personnel Action Notice processing and a full array of searching and lookup tools. It runs on our servers to save your district the effort on on-going service and maintenance. (You may optionally have it installed on your servers)

Symphony expands on this with four On-line applications, allows for the unique customizations of those on-line applications, more extensive eForms Personnel Action Notices with workflow automation, advanced systems integration capability and add-on features required by the largest and most demanding of districts.

Prelude, our introductory employment application management system, sets a new standard in capability and is more feature-rich than you might expect. It's designed as a complete solution for districts who do not require the extensive customizations and unique enhancements included with our Symphony software. Simply review the feature sets listed above and you'll recognize that there are eForms, workflow automation, and features included in Prelude that won't be found anywhere else (except in other WinOcular solutions!)
